The 38-year-old Wicked actor was spotted heading into the airport on Sunday afternoon, September 6, in Venice, Italy, as he prepared to leave town following several high-profile appearances.

Jonathan Bailey Represents Armani Beauty

Bailey was in Venice as part of his work with Armani Beauty, serving as the face of the brand’s “I Will” fragrance campaign.

The campaign marks Armani’s first men’s fragrance launch in more than two decades, with Bailey representing the brand’s vision of modern masculinity.

As part of his role, Bailey attended the Venice Film Festival opening ceremony, where he walked the red carpet in a stylish Giorgio Armani look.

He also made appearances at two Armani Beauty parties during the festival, joining other major stars and fashion figures in Venice.

Bailey Opens Up About His Armani Connection

Speaking with Esquire, Bailey described his connection with Armani as a major privilege, praising the legacy of the late designer and the brand’s approach to confidence, sensuality and sophisticated masculinity.

Interestingly, Bailey received the call about joining the Armani Beauty family while he was researching his role in the musical Sunday in the Park with George.

He recalled cycling through Paris and visiting the park where Georges Seurat created A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, the painting that inspired the musical.

Bailey said that while thinking about the relationship between imagery, fragrance and storytelling, he received the phone call about Armani—an experience he described as a bizarre but remarkably full-circle moment.

Bailey’s Venice appearances come shortly after he stepped away from Sunday in the Park with George following Ariana Grande’s departure from the production.
