Kehlani Cancels Two Tour Dates After Hospitalization, Says They Were ‘Unable to Swallow’
The singer revealed they were hospitalized after experiencing severe pain and difficulty swallowing and were not medically cleared to perform.
Kehlani has been forced to cancel two upcoming concerts on their Kehlani World Tour after being hospitalized with an illness.
The 31-year-old “Folded” singer announced the cancellations on Wednesday, August 27, sharing an update with fans on Instagram alongside photos from inside the hospital.
Kehlani explained that they had initially been feeling completely normal during two days off before their condition suddenly changed.
“After two off days feeling completely normal, I’ve been up all night unable to swallow & in so much pain,” the singer wrote.
Kehlani added that they had just left the hospital but had not been medically cleared to perform at their next two scheduled shows.
The unexpected health issue has forced the singer to step away from the stage temporarily as they focus on recovering. Fans will now have to wait for further updates regarding the affected tour dates and Kehlani’s return to live performances.
