Ricky Martin Makes Venice Film Festival Debut With Hombre al agua

The singer and actor stepped onto the Venice red carpet alongside Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Gael García Bernal and the film’s cast.

Ricky Martin is continuing to expand his acting career with a role in the upcoming film Hombre al agua, which made its premiere at the 2026 Venice Film Festival.

The 54-year-old actor and singer made his Venice Film Festival red-carpet debut on Sunday, September 6, in Venice, Italy, as he attended the premiere alongside his co-stars.

Martin joined Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Gael García Bernal, who also directed the movie, for the highly anticipated premiere.

Martin, Garcia-Rulfo and García Bernal were joined on the red carpet by fellow cast members Esmeralda Pimentel, Debora Nascimento and Jorge Salinas.

Actor Diego Luna was also among the stars attending the premiere, adding even more star power to the Venice event.
