The Euphoria star made a stylish entrance in Venice ahead of her 29th birthday, greeting fans before heading to her hotel by water taxi.
Sydney Sweeney has arrived in Venice for the 2026 Venice Film Festival, and the actress wasted no time making a fashion statement.
The 28-year-old Euphoria star was spotted at the Venice airport on Wednesday, September 2, wearing a striking sheer lace halter crop top paired with beige shorts. She completed the look with clear shoes from Gianvito Rossi.
Sydney Sweeney Makes a Fashionable Arrival
Sweeney was seen greeting fans as she made her way through the airport before leaving for her hotel in a traditional Venetian water taxi.
While the actress does not appear to have a project premiering at this year’s festival, her arrival suggests fans could still see plenty of standout fashion moments from the star during the event.
Sweeney has previously attended the Venice Film Festival in 2022, 2023 and 2024, but did not attend last year’s festival.

The Venice Film Festival is known for attracting some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, and Sweeney has become a familiar face on its red carpets.

The actress is also celebrating another milestone this week. Sweeney recently unveiled a new birthday collection for her lingerie brand, SYRN, ahead of her 29th birthday.
As the founder of the brand, Sweeney described the collection as romantic, feminine and personal.
“I’m a lovergirl at heart, so of course I wanted my birthday collection to be Romantic.”
She added that the collection was designed to feel like “a love note you get to wear,” with her handwritten message, “I really love you,” incorporated into the embroidery.
With her Venice arrival and new birthday collection, Sweeney is heading into her 29th year with both fashion and business firmly in the spotlight.
